Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 launch

Lenovo has launched its latest flagship gaming 5G smartphone the Legion Phone Duel 2 in China, as they promised, which is the successor Legion Phone Duel that was launch last year. It has a 6.92-inch FHD+ E4 Samsung AMOLED screen with 144Hz refresh rate, 720Hz multi-fingerprint touch response, DCI-P3 color gamut, HDR10+, and DC dimming. It runs on the latest Snapdragon 888 processor with 5G SA/NSA support, up to 18GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 512GB UFS 3.1 storage and works on ZUI 12.5 based on Android 11.

It has a dual cooling system with liquid cooling and an internal VC 4,730 square millimeters liquid-cooled plate, dual fans, and pure copper independent air ducts, which can quickly reduce the heat through the dual air outlets on both sides of the phone. It has a dual rear camera setup where a 64MP primary camera and a 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera that also capture a macro image. On the front side has a 44MP pop-up front autofocus front camera with 4K recording, real-time virtual image generation, and convenient for live broadcasters.

This time Lenovo has also added an independent display chip in order to meet the different control needs of playing games, and there are a total of six customizable touchpoints in the right middle frame, the left edge of the back cover, and the upper and lower back of the device. The control area, together can support up to eight finger operations.

The phone has protected by Corning Gorilla Glass on the back panel with an all-metal middle frame, dual X-axis linear motors same as the previous generation. It features 0.7mm, dual speakers, with an equivalent 1.6cc sound cavity and supports Dolby Atmos, but it did not come with a 3.5mm headphone jack. There are two USB Type-C ports on the bottom and right sides of the phone to more flexibly access accessories while charging. This phone is powered by a massive 5,500mAh that supports up to 90W wired fast charging.

The Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 comes in Dawn and Gradient versions, and It will be available April 9th only in China and the pre-order has started from April 8th. This phone will also release in Asia-Pacific and European markets soon.
