Lenovo is bringing the Phab 2 Plus to India on November 8th with a 6.4-inch 1080p display and dual-13MP rear cameras. It will be exclusively sold through Amazon.in.

Coming to specs, the Phab 2 Plus runs on the MediaTek MT8783 octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali-T720 GPU. There's 3GB RAM and 32GB storage here running Android 6.0 Marshmallow based on Vibe UI. But the highlight here are those dual-rear cameras.

You have custom Fujitsu Milbeaut ISPs here with 13MP dual cameras, larger 1.34-micron pixel size for better low-light performance. You also get hybrid focusing here, combining laser and phase-detection autofocus. There are several camera features you can play with including a manual mode, refocus as well as Augmented Reality (AR) effects.

In the front, there's an 8MP camera also with larger 1.4-micron pixel size. The display is covered by 2.5D glass and this behemoth is powered by a 4050 mAh battery which is non-removable. Lenovo has made the back a bit curved with flat sides, so you have a subtle arc of 5.5mm at its thinnest point to 9.6mm at its thickest. Considering the 6.4-inch display and that massive battery, the weight of 218 grams is understandable.

Although you won't find a separate DAC here, but the Phab 2 Plus gets Dolby Atmos audio with 5.1-channel audio capture thanks to its triple array of microphones which also assist in better noise cancellation. Connectivity options aren't limited either, there's dual-SIM (hybrid) 4G LTE support, dual-band WiFi ac, Bluetooth 4.0 as well as GPS.

The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus was introduced at Tech World 2016 at $299 which translates to about Rs. 19,950. Given Lenovo's current pricing strategy, the Phab 2 Plus may be priced even less in India. Although we can't confirm, but the company may bring both the Gunmetal Grey and Champagne gold colors to India. We will be present at the event and you can follow our live blog on Facebook, Twitter.
