We have been hearing a lot about the Moto M recently, and now we have some live images of the smartphone with confirmed specs saying it would run on the new Helio P15 chipset from MediaTek which runs on eight Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2.2GHz. There's 4GB RAM, 32GB onboard storage which should be expandable with a microSD card slot.

The Moto M (XT1662) is quite different in design from both the Moto Z and Moto G4 line-up. It has an all-metal unibody construction with antenna bands on the back along with a fingerprint sensor which has finally found its right spot, on the back. It is expected to pack a 16MP f/2.0 rear camera which could be the same one we saw on the Moto G4 Plus as well as an 8MP front facing camera.

You can also see "moto" branding on the front with on-screen button on the 5.5-inch 1080p display protected by 2.5D curved glass. The Moto M is a dual-SIM smartphone as well with support for 4G VoLTE, dual-band WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth 4.1. It is expected to come with a 3000 mAh battery with support for fast charging. All this would run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box but from the live images, you can see that its running Vibe UI on top.

We have heard that the Moto M would be priced around 1999 Yuan (Rs. 19700 or $295) and is expected to launch on November 8th along with the Lenovo P2.
