OnePlus has shared fresh design insights into its upcoming OnePlus 15T following a series of teasers. The smartphone focuses on a compact form factor, debuts new dessert-inspired color options, and incorporates advanced manufacturing techniques in its construction.
Display and Build -
The OnePlus 15T sports a 6.32-inch flat display, designed for comfortable one-handed usage. It features ultra-slim, uniform 1.1mm bezels on all four sides, contributing to an impressive screen-to-body ratio.
Maintaining the brand’s flat and clean design philosophy, the device comes with gently rounded corners for better ergonomics. On the back, it adopts a unibody “metal cube” Deco module that blends seamlessly into the rear panel instead of protruding outward.
New Color Options -
For the 15T, OnePlus has introduced three chocolate-themed finishes:
- Pure Cocoa – A rich, deep brown shade
- Relaxing Matcha – A unique matcha-inspired green
- Healing White Chocolate – A clean, all-white edition
Manufacturing Focus: Healing White Chocolate Edition -
OnePlus also detailed the engineering behind the “Healing White Chocolate” variant. The objective was to achieve a consistent all-white appearance, ensuring both the rear panel and metal frame match perfectly in tone.
To accomplish this, the company employed a micro-arc oxidation process on the metal frame. This advanced treatment modifies the metal surface to produce a durable and uniform white finish. According to OnePlus China President Louis Jie, the extensive refinement and monochromatic approach make this edition stand out in today’s compact smartphone segment.
