OnePlus has released a new teaser across its social media platforms, hinting at the arrival of an upcoming smartphone. The teaser carries the message, “Stay tuned. Something NEW is coming soon,” and features three smartphone outlines arranged to resemble the letter “N,” suggesting the launch of a new N-series device.
Based on listings spotted on Amazon India, the upcoming smartphone is expected to be part of a new affordable lineup, which is currently rumored to be called the OnePlus N6.
OnePlus Expands Its N-Series Vision
The OnePlus Nord N series has traditionally catered to the entry-level and lower mid-range segments, gaining popularity primarily in North America and Europe. However, recent reports and industry leaks indicate that OnePlus may be preparing a broader strategy for its N-series portfolio in 2026.
Interestingly, the latest teaser does not reference the Nord branding. Industry reports suggest that OnePlus could use this new N-series generation to strengthen its position in highly competitive, value-focused markets such as India. As a result, the device is expected to be priced below Rs. 20,000.
Design Details Revealed by the Teaser
The teaser image offers a side-profile glimpse of the smartphone, revealing several notable design elements:
- Flat-Frame Design: The device appears to feature flat side rails and a boxy chassis, following the modern design language adopted by many recent smartphones.
- Camera Module: A slight camera bump is visible on the rear panel, suggesting a compact camera island rather than a full-width camera housing.
- Button Placement: The right side of the device appears to house the power button and volume controls. The iconic Alert Slider, commonly found on premium OnePlus devices, is notably absent, likely as a cost-saving measure.
- Color Options: The teaser showcases a dual-tone color approach, including a soft mint-green variant and a darker charcoal or black finish.
Expected Launch Timeline
OnePlus is expected to share additional information about the device over the coming weeks. The smartphone is anticipated to debut sometime in July. Once launched, it should be available through Amazon India, the official OnePlus India online store, and authorized offline retail outlets across the country.
