OnePlus just launched its latest mid-range 5G smartphone the OnePlus Nord 2 and the successor of last year’s OnePlus Nord at an event in India. It has a 6.43-inch FHD+ Fluid AMOLED display with a 90 Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, a 20:9 aspect ratio, AI color boost, AI resolution boost smart ambient display, and has an in-display fingerprint sensor.
It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI processor with dual 5G SA/NA support, up to 12GB RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and works on OxygenOS 11.3 based on Android 11. The “AI” part means the CPU provides the phone with comprehensive AI-enhanced software performance, including optimized photo and video shooting and high-refresh gaming. The company already confirmed that it will get 2 Android updates and 3 years of security updates.
Coming to the cameras, it has a triple rear camera setup where a 50-megapixel primary camera with Sony IMX766 sensor, OIS along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, 2-megapixel macro camera, and on the front side has a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 sensor punch-hole front-facing camera. The main camera has a huge Sony IMX766 sensor that absorbs 56% more light for vivid and colorful photos and videos, especially in low-light environments. It also added optical image stabilization (OIS) to help make the content you shoot smooth and blur-free.
It features Haptics 2.0 for a more sensitive and tactile experience, Wi-Fi 6 technology, and dual stereo speakers that provide crisp, clear, and loud sound. It is powered by a 4500mAh that supports 65W Warp charge fast charging in the box, which charges up to one day of battery power (70%) in just 15 minutes.

The OnePlus Nord 2 5G comes in Blue Haze (All versions), Gray Sierra (8GB and 12GB only), and the India-exclusive Green Woods (12GB + 256GB only) colors. Along with being classy, the 3D AG glass for Blue Haze and Gray Sierra is angled to feel slimmer and smoother in hand, while Blue Haze and Green Woods are both fingerprint and smudge resistant.
It will be available From July 28th on Amazon.in, OnePlus.in, OnePlus Experience Stores and other partner stores, and the pre-order has started from July 26th.
