OnePlus is working on its upcoming mid-range 5G smartphone the OnePlus Nord 2, which will be the successor of the Oneplus Nord. Now, the CAD-based renders of the phone have surfaced online by leakster @OnLeaks. It shows a 6.43-inch punch-hole screen similar to the Nord CE, and could come with the same FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate., but the camera design looks similar to the OnePlus 9 series.
The measure of the phone is 160 x 73.8 x 8.1mm, which is almost the same as the Nord CE. According to the renders, the phone will have an alert slider which is missed in the Nord CE, but there is no 3.5mm audio jack. This time OnePlus is said to be used MediaTek’s latest flagship Dimensity 1200 6nm processor Instead of Snapdragon SoC in other Nord models, as per the earlier rumored.
It expected to come with a triple rear camera setup where a 50MP primary camera along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP B&W sensor for portrait shots, and should have a 32MP front-facing punch-hole camera as compared to dual front cameras in the predecessor. This phone is expected to be powered by a 4500mAh as similar to the Nord CE.
The OnePlus Nord 2 is expected somewhere to launch in Q2 2021, but It will be announced sometime in early Q3. We should know more details and the full specifications of the phone in the coming days.
