OnePlus has launched its latest smartphone in the Nord CE Lite lineup after a two-year gap, the OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite in India, as promised. The smartphone is designed for everyday users, focusing on dependable performance, long battery life, smooth visuals, and AI-powered software features. It arrives as the successor to the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite with upgrades across processing power, cooling, and display technology.
Performance and Gaming -
The OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Apex chipset built on a 4nm process. The octa-core processor is designed to deliver improved efficiency and balanced performance for daily tasks and gaming. According to OnePlus, the device scores over 1,030,000 on AnTuTu benchmarks, offering up to 43% better overall performance and 155% higher graphics output compared to the previous generation.
The smartphone also features fast UFS 3.1 storage and supports dynamic RAM expansion up to 16GB for improved multitasking and app retention.
For gaming, the Nord CE6 Lite supports up to 144FPS gameplay in titles such as Subway Surfers, while games including BGMI, Free Fire Max, and Call of Duty: Mobile can run at up to 90FPS. OnePlus says the device can maintain stable 60FPS gameplay in BGMI for up to six hours.
Display -
The OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite features a 6.72-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels. The screen supports a 144Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling, animations, and gaming visuals.
For outdoor visibility, the panel can reach up to 1000 nits in High Brightness Mode. The display also supports a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz and is capable of accurately detecting touch input even with wet or oily fingers.
Camera Features -
For photography, the Nord CE6 Lite includes a 50MP primary rear camera paired with a 2MP depth-assist sensor. On the front, the device features an 8MP selfie camera for video calls and self-portraits.
The camera system supports up to 10x digital zoom and 4K video recording at 30FPS. OnePlus has also included a Dual-View Video mode that allows simultaneous recording from the front and rear cameras.
The smartphone comes with several AI-powered editing tools, including AI Portrait Glow, AI Eraser, AI Reflection Eraser, AI Reframe, AI Perfect Shot, AI Unblur, and AI Detail Boost.
Software and AI Features -
The smartphone runs OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16. OnePlus says the software brings improvements such as 36% faster camera response times, 29% quicker app cold starts, and 17% faster system startup speeds. The company also promises up to 60 months of smooth system performance.
Google Gemini is integrated into the device to assist with reading, writing, and planning tasks. The phone also supports Gemini Live, enabling real-time assistance using on-screen content or the camera viewfinder.
Design and Durability -
The OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite measures 8.55mm in thickness and weighs around 208g. It features a matte-finish rear panel and comes in Vivid Mint and Hyper Black color options.
For durability, the smartphone carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. It has also passed MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability tests, ensuring resistance against drops, impacts, and other environmental stresses.
Battery and Cooling -
The device packs a large 7000mAh single-cell battery designed for extended usage. OnePlus claims the phone can deliver up to 81.7 hours of music playback, 26.2 hours of YouTube streaming, 11.7 hours of video calls, 10.6 hours of battle royale gaming, and 9.1 hours of 4K video recording on a full charge.
The smartphone supports 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging and also includes bypass charging technology, allowing the phone to draw power directly from the charger during intensive usage to reduce heat generation and battery strain.
To maintain stable temperatures during gaming and demanding tasks, the Nord CE6 Lite uses an advanced cooling system with a 5300mm² vapour chamber.
