OPPO has officially confirmed that it will launch the OPPO Pad Air5 in China on December 25. According to the company, the upcoming tablet will sport a flowing, shimmering design inspired by a starry sky, paired with a matte velvet finish that feels warm and smooth to the touch.
The OPPO Pad Air5 will be available in a Starlight Pink variant with subtle highlights, along with a Depth Space Gray option. OPPO describes the tablet as stylish, lightweight, and easy to carry. Images reveal a single rear camera setup, and the device will also support a stylus.
The tablet is confirmed to feature a 2.8K soft light or matte display and pack a large 10,050mAh battery. It will be offered in 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB configurations. In terms of design and positioning, it closely resembles the OnePlus Pad Go 2 that debuted in India and other global markets earlier this week.
Expected specifications include a 12.1-inch (2800 × 1980) 7:5 display with a 120Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset, Android 16-based ColorOS 16, 8MP cameras on both the front and rear, quad speakers with Dolby Atmos, and 33W SuperVOOC fast charging.
Pricing details should be revealed when the tablet goes on sale next week.
