Realme has officially confirmed the launch of its latest smartphone in the P4 series, the realme P4 Power 5G in India on January 29, following a series of teasers. The upcoming smartphone will feature a massive 10,001mAh battery.
According to the company, this is the world’s first smartphone with a 10,000mAh+ battery to pass military-grade shock testing, and it has also received TÜV Rheinland 5-Star Battery Certification. Despite housing such a large battery, the phone weighs just 219 grams. realme also claims the battery will retain up to 80% of its capacity even after four years of use.
The device uses several advanced battery technologies, including Next-Gen Silicon-Carbon Anode Tech for a 30% improvement in battery life cycle, a Dual-Layer Coating Process for more efficient power delivery, and a C-Pack Protection Board Design to enhance safety.
In terms of charging, the phone supports 80W fast charging, which is said to provide up to half a day of usage with just five minutes of charging. It also offers 27W reverse charging and includes support for bypass charging.
On the front, the realme P4 Power 5G features a 144Hz HyperGlow 4D Curve+ OLED display with up to 6,500 nits peak brightness. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset, paired with the HyperVision+ AI chip, enabling 90fps BGMI gaming with up to 16% lower power consumption.
The smartphone runs realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16 and comes with a promise of three years of Android OS updates and four years of security updates. For photography, it is equipped with a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera with OIS, accompanied by a secondary ultra-wide camera.
Earlier this week, realme also confirmed that the phone will feature a TransView Design, inspired by transparency and created by students of Pearl Academy. The device will be available in Trans Orange, Trans Silver, and Trans Blue colour options.
Following its launch, the realme P4 Power 5G will be available for purchase via Flipkart, realme.com, and offline retail stores.
