Realme has begun teasing the launch of the realme P4 Power 5G, the company’s upcoming smartphone in the P4 series, for the Indian market. The device is being positioned as a battery-focused offering, with official teasers revealing key details about its charging features, design approach, and long-term usability ahead of its formal debut.
Focus on Battery and Charging -

Promotional materials from the brand highlight a “mAAAAAhsive” battery, indicating that a high-capacity cell will be the phone’s main selling point. According to realme, the device is capable of delivering up to 1.5 days of usage on a single charge, compared to rival smartphones that typically require two charges to last the same duration.
One of the standout features is support for 27W reverse charging, which is significantly faster than the usual 5W or 10W reverse charging seen on most phones. This effectively allows the P4 Power 5G to double as a power bank for other devices. The phone will also support Bypass Charging, enabling it to draw power directly from the charger during demanding tasks such as gaming, helping to reduce heat buildup and preserve battery health.
Performance and Design -
Despite housing a large battery, realme claims the phone will feature a “pocket-friendly” design with a weight of 218g. While heavier than typical smartphones, it remains relatively light for a device built around a high-capacity battery.
The teasers also suggest that the device will maintain a consistently high refresh rate instead of dropping to 60Hz to save power, while offering stable frame rates and efficient thermal management. realme further claims the phone will remain “cool even at 10%” battery life.
Another bold claim is an “8-year” longevity guarantee, positioning the P4 Power 5G as a long-lasting and reliable device.
Availability -
realme has confirmed that the P4 Power 5G will be a Flipkart Unique product, continuing its partnership with the e-commerce platform for the P-series. The smartphone is expected to launch later this month, with the exact date set to be announced soon.
