Redmi also has launched a new smartphone the Redmi K40S, which is the successor to last year’s Redmi K40 in China, along with the Redmi K50 series. It has the same 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED screen with MEMC, 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate, DCI-P3 color gamut, and HDR10+ support.
It runs on the Snapdragon 870 processor with up to 12GB RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 storage and is based on MIUI 13 based on Android 12. This time company upgraded cooling system offers a vapor chamber area as high as 3112mm², and the liquid-cooled heat dissipation area has been increased by 400% compared with Redmi K40, as per the company.
It has a 48MP primary camera with an IMX582 sensor, IOS, along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera and 5MP 50mm telephoto macro lens. On the front side has a 20MP front-facing camera. It is powered by a 4500mAh that supports 67W fast charging compared to 33W charging in the K40, which can charge 100% battery in 38 minutes.
