Samsung has launched its Mi Max competitor in India, the Galaxy J Max with an even bigger 7-inch display.

The Galaxy J Max offers Dual-SIM 4G VoLTE support, WiFi, Bluetooth, FM Radio and GPS. Samsung will also be bundling a free bluetooth headset with the phablet (possibly would have to find a new word for it) so that you don't have to hold it to take calls. There's also Airtel's double data offer available here for 6 months.

The J Max apart from the mammoth 7-inch (1280x800 pixels) display runs on a 1.5GHz quad-core processor with 1.5GB RAM, 16GB internal storage which is expandable with a microSD card slot. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. On the camera front you have an 8MP auto focus rear camera with f/1.9 aperture lens and a f/2.2 2MP front-camera.

The Galaxy J Max is relatively thin at 8.7mm and comes with a massive 4000 mAh battery which would be required to power that monster display.
