Today, Samsung has launched its latest next-generation flip phone the Galaxy Z Flip3 at the Galaxy Unpacked event 2021. It has a 6.7-inch FULL HD+ Dynamic AMOLED main display with a 22:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. This is an Infinity Flex display that has proprietary bendable Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG).
There is a 1.9-inch outer Super AMOLED display that can show more content such as notifications and messages without having to open the phone, compared to 1.1-inch in the predecessor. It also features hands-free with Flex mode and the new Flex Mode Panel feature makes apps look better and easier to use. When the phone is partially folded the Flex Mode Panel gives you new ways to interact with Z Flip3, offering a more convenient viewing experience by moving the video to the top half of the screen and the show’s controls like brightness and volume to the bottom half.
The Galaxy Z Flip3 runs on the Snapdragon 888 processor with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and works on One UI 3.1 based on Android 11. It has a dual rear camera setup where a 12MP primary wide-angle camera with f/1.8 aperture along with a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, but the camera lens has Corning Gorilla Glass with DX protection.
The front side has a 10MP shooter with an f/2.4 aperture. It is powered by a 3300mAh battery that supports both wired and wireless fast charging. The phone comes with an Armour Aluminium frame which is the strongest aluminum frame yet, as per the company. It also has IPX8 ratings, making it the first foldable phone with a water resistance rating.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G comes in Cream, Green, Lavender, and Phantom Black colors. It will be available from August 27th in the Global Market, and the pre-order has started from today.
