Samsung just launched its latest flagship foldable smartphone Galaxy Z Fold2 at its Galaxy Unpacked Part 2 virtual event in the Global Market, as they promised. It has a 7.6-inch Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED Display with a bezel-less design, a 120Hz refresh rate, Samsung Ultra-Thin Glass and has a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Flex display on the outside cover display with an improved hinge, better protection against the dust and dirt.
It runs on the latest Snapdragon 865 plus processor with dual 5G support, up to 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage, and works on the latest OneUI 2.5 based on Android 10. It comes with a 10MP punch-hole camera on both inside and outside the cover display and has a triple rear camera setup on the outside where a 12 MP primary camera with OIS along with 12 MP ultra-wide camera and 12 MP telephoto lens with OIS.
It comes with sweeper technology that was first introduced on the Galaxy Z Flip, within the gap between the body and hinge housing to repel dust and undesirable particles. The new innovative sweeper structure is even smaller than on the Galaxy Z Flip. The Galaxy Z Fold2 Hideaway Hinge features revolutionary slim cutting technology, modified fiber composition, and adjusted fiber density with the CAM mechanism and enables free-standing capabilities.
It also has combines Flex mode and App Continuity for expanded usability on both Cover and Main Screen. The advanced Multi-Active Window can offer you to control your screen layout easily and flexibility at opening multiple files from the same app at the same time and view them side by side, offers improved Multi-Window Tray, the better viewing experience of apps, including Gmail, YouTube, and Spotify.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 is powered by a 4500mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging in the box along with 11W wireless (WPC and PMA) charging and it comes in Mystic Black and Mystic Bronze colors with a customized hinge in Metallic Silver, Metallic Gold, Metallic Red, and Metallic Blue colors.

It Price of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 starts at $1,999 (Rs. 1,45,930 approx.) in the US and in Europe at €1,999. It will available from September 18th in the 40 markets, including the United States and South Korea, and the pre-orders starting from today, September 1, 2020, in the select markets, including the U.S.A and Europe.
The Company has also introduced the Galaxy Z Fold2 Thom Browne edition, which includes a Galaxy Watch3, the Galaxy Buds Live earbuds, watch straps, charging accessories, and protective cases. Additionally, the Galaxy Z Fold2 and the accompanying smartwatch come pre-loaded with custom wallpapers, camera filters, and watch faces as well for that added dash of exclusivity. It will available from September 25th in select markets priced at $3,299 and the pre-orders starting from today, September 1, 2020.
