Vivo just launched its latest smartphone Vivo S9 in the S series in China, as they promised. It has a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, up to 1300 nits brightness, and 91.04% screen-to-body ratio with a narrow border design. This is the first smartphone powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 1100 6nm processor with 5G SA/NSA support, up to 12GB of RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and works on OriginOS 1.0 based on Android 11.
It has a triple rear camera setup where a 64MP primary camera along with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP mono camera. On the front side has a 44MP autofocus front-facing camera along with 8MP ultra-105° wide camera with VLOG mode. The front camera also supports up to 4K 60fps video recording and has EIS stabilization.
The phones come with VC cooling which is 30% bigger and the heat dissipation area is increased by 136% as compared with the previous generation. It has an AG glass back panel with a metal frame and has an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is powered by a 4000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging in the box, and it comes in Midnight Blue, Gradient Blue, and White colors.

Vivo S9e -
The Company also announced Vivo S9e that has a similar screen, but this will comes with MediaTek Dimensity 820 SoC, 32MP front-facing camera, gradient back panel with speckles in some colors, and has a slightly bigger 4100mAh battery. It comes in Diamond Crystal, Aurora Blue, and Obsidian Black colors. It will be available from March 27th only in China and the Pre-order has started from today.
