Vivo has launched its latest flagship smartphone, the Vivo X300s, at its spring launch event in China, alongside the G2 teleconverter accessory, as previously teased. The presentation centered on advancements in mobile imaging and next-generation display technology.
Display and Performance -
The vivo X300s is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with vivo’s in-house V3+ imaging processor to enhance computational photography capabilities.
It features a 6.78-inch flat display and becomes the first device in the X series to support a 144Hz refresh rate. Key display highlights include:

- Panel Technology - 8T LTPO architecture combined with a Q10 Plus luminescent substrate.
- Brightness & Dimming - 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and full-brightness DC dimming, with a global peak brightness reaching up to 2000 nits.
- Color & Gaming - 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut coverage and certification for native 144FPS ultra-high graphics mode in Honor of Kings.
Camera Hardware and Optics -
Imaging remains a core strength of the X series. The X300s features a dual high-resolution camera system developed in collaboration with Zeiss:

- Primary Camera - 200MP Samsung HPB sensor (1/1.4-inch), equipped with CIPA 4.5-rated professional-grade optical stabilization.
- Telephoto Camera - Sony LYTIA 602 sensor with Zeiss APO certification, also supporting CIPA 4.5 stabilization.
- Lighting System - The new Zoom Flash II incorporates upgraded LED materials, improving color rendering index by 14% and offering more than ten cinematic lighting styles.
Software and AI Imaging Enhancements -
The X300s introduces new creative tools aimed at expanding photography flexibility:
- Blueprint Color Palette - Allows manual filter customization, with options to save, share, and re-edit color profiles.
- AI Creation Camera - Automatically optimizes shooting parameters for specific themes such as anime cosplay and Hanfu travel photography. Vivo states that the system processes key scene data in real time to ensure consistent results while preserving natural facial details.
G2 Teleconverter -

Alongside the smartphone, vivo introduced the 200mm G2 teleconverter, designed to extend mobile photography capabilities.
- Design - Weighs 153g and measures 96mm in length, with portability comparable to a lipstick-sized accessory.
- Optical Structure - Upgraded 15-element lens system meeting Zeiss APO standards.
- Functionality - Specifically engineered to support 200mm portrait video recording.
