Xolo Q1000s Plus

XOLO Q1000s Plus has found a way on the company's official site. It has yet to be announced. The Q1000s Plus comes with a 5-inch 1080p IPS display with One Glass Solution tech for better touch response, color saturation alongwith a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589T SoC with PowerVR SGX544MP GPU. It builds on the previously launched Q1000s which came with a 720p display, 1 GB RAM and 16 GB storage. Now, we are not sure why XOLO decided to put this dated chipset in a new phone, but this makes the Q1000s Plus outdated even before its launch.

Priced to compete with the Xiaomi Mi 3 which also comes in at Rs. 13,999 the Q1000s Plus definitely is sub-par when it comes to performance. But it does pack a 13 MP rear camera with flash and a 5 MP front-facing camera. It again runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, which is two major revisions behind the current platform update.

There's 2 GB RAM onboard the Q1000s Plus with 32 GB internal storage and its non-expandable. Its a single SIM device and comes with a large 3000 mAh battery. Ridiculous pricing aside, the Q1000s Plus is being launched with inferior hardware and older software which is not what we expect from XOLO, especially when they are trying to make strides with their own custom HIVE UI.
