Intex is doubling down on 4G VoLTE ready smartphones for Jio network, the new smartphones in the line-up are the Aqua 5.5 VR and Aqua Craze II launched in the ongoing India Gadgetz Expo in Bengaluru, India.
Both sport a 720p HD displays, pack 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage and run Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Both have a similar camera setup as well, 5MP rear cameras with LED flash and 5MP front cameras for selfies. The Intex Aqua 5.5 VR also gets a front-flash for better selfies in low-light and also has VR headset support. They sport dual-SIM card slots and you will find a separate microSD card slot to expand storage. There is no fingerprint sensor on either of these smartphones.
Intex is bringing something new to the table with its software this time around. It has its own set of value added services in the form of a left swipe screen (LFTY) which lists content in the from of videos, music, news, shopping, weather, Twitter, Best Apps to Install and other utilities all in one place. Then there's the regional "Matrabhasha" integration which allows you to send text, tweets in over 21 Indian languages.
Both phones are VoLTE ready and will work with Reliance Jio network.

Intex Aqua 5.5 VR and Aqua Craze II Price in India
The Intex Aqua VR has been priced at Rs. 5099 and it will be available in champagne and blue color options, available from Flipkart exclusively starting October 19th. The Aqua Crze II will come in at Rs. 5990 in blue, grey, champagne colors available from retail stores.
