Although OnePlus has been uncharacteristically mum on the subject, but we there have been a lot of rumours surrounding the new smartphone. The design of the OnePlus 3T or whatever it comes to be called will be similar to the OnePlus 3 but come with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
It is expected to come with 6GB LPDDR4 RAM, 64GB UFS 2.0 storage with a 128GB storage option as well running on Snapdragon 821. It will also get a new 16MP camera with Sony IMX398 sensor, 8MP front camera. The battery is said to be have been bumped up to 3300 mAh as well with support for Dash Charge. Connectivity options will remain the same with dual-SIM support, dual-band WiFi ac, GPS, USB Type-C port and a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button.
The display is still pegged to be an AMOLED panel, nut there has been word that OnePlus is considering going with LCD this time around. Given that now Qualcomm has also confirmed the existence of the device, we can assume it will launch soon. In fact, a launch date of November14 has been rumored.
