Behold the new Samsung Galaxy S5, it has just gone official with a 5.1-inch 1080p display, 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 2 GB RAM running Android 4.4.2 KitKat with new refined TouchWiz UI,. There's a 16 MP camera capable of recording 4K video at 30 FPS with Selective Focus and several other features.

The Galaxy S5 will come in both 16 GB or 32 GB storage models which is expandable upto 64 GB. Samsung is using a new design with the Galaxy S5, especially with the backcover which is made of polycarbonate this time. Its what the company likes to call "modern glam look". Its definitely plastic but is quite refined and looks quite like the backcover of the Note 3 with added texture and no faux stitching.

There's a fingerprint sensor embedded into the Home button, making the device slightly taller and wider than the Galaxy S4. There's a heart rate monitor as well which is integrated with the S Health 3.0 app.

It s a bit heavier as well at 145 grams while the Galaxy S4 was 130 grams in weight. But there's a 2800 mAh battery to keep the Galaxy S5 running for 21 hours alongwith 16 days of standby time. The Samsung Galaxy S5 will be available after March in Charcoal Black, Shimmery White, Copper Gold and Electric Blue colors.
